On Sunday, November 6th at 3 p.m., David Behnke and David Rhoderick combined their considerable talents to present 'German Lieder' (German Art Song) -- including music by Beethoven, Schumann and Strauss and the poetry of Joseph von Eichendorff. Click here for more about this concert. |
Director, Matt Scinto and members of the Cape Cod Cod Chamber Orchestra (The Sandbar Chamber Quintet) performed at the Chilmark Community Center on November 19. The program included Schubert's masterful Cello Quintet as well as the music of Jacques Offenbach and Antonin Dvorak. Scinto and his orchestra have been gathering rave reviews for their concerts in Southeastern Mass and on the Cape. Last year the Orchestra performed at the MV Performing Arts Center to an enthusiastic response and we were glad to welcome Scinto once again.
