Now in its 54th year, the Martha's Vineyard Chamber Music Society brings world class musicians to the Island's most welcoming, intimate settings. This summer, in celebration of America 250, every concert features at least one American composition. From Grammy winning ensembles to rising stars from Juilliard, the 2026 festival invites audiences to experience vibrant performances and music that spans generations and styles.

Summer Festival: A hallmark of our calendar, this festival gathers esteemed chamber musicians in a celebration of music's enduring power and the remarkable contributions of our co-founder, Delores Stevens.
Artist in Residence: Featuring award-winning ensembles like The Thalea String Quartet, this program immerses island students in a week of music education, ensemble coaching, and culminates in a public performance.
Fall/Winter Series: Highlights include performances by renowned groups such as the Cape Cod Chamber Quartet and Trio Gaia, bringing classical and contemporary chamber music to various island venues.
Music Education: Deepening our commitment to the community, we offer 'Strings Lease,' 'Lesson Scholarship,' and annual college scholarships, supporting music education for island students.
