Music Education and Community Engagement
Our "Music Education and Community Engagement" project brings ensembles to the island monthly during the school year to support Island Strings teachers, helping students build skills and confidence in their individual playing and in ensembles. Musicians offer a concert to inspire the entire community at days end.
Generously funded in our inaugural year 2024-2025 by The West Chop Community Fund.
We are currently seeking funding to continue this program for school year 2025-2026.

Celebrating Music
The Martha's Vineyard Chamber Music Society produces chamber music concerts and promotes an appreciation of classical and contemporary music on the island of Martha's Vineyard. The Summer Evening Concerts and our Education Programs including Instrument Loans, Lesson Scholarships, Artist in Residence, and Project Cello, all depend on generous donors and grant funders. Your donation is greatly appreciated and will help us fulfill our mission. |
